Abstract
A two-bandpass prototype radiometer utilizing a silver halide optical fiber for temperature measurements is constructed. Preliminary results show the feasibility of the two-bandpass method for ambient temperature measurements. Using this method, errors arising from geometrical factors and emissivity changes can be eliminated or reduced.
