The stabilization of a multiwavelength CO2 is very complex. The difficulty arises from the physical process inside the laser tube, which causes some uncertainty and/or imprecise factors in control. In this case, fuzzy logic control is more appropriate. A self-organized fuzzy controller is presented. By means of this fuzzy controller, a dualwavelength frequency-stabilized CO2 laser with high precision can be controlled effectively, and a satisfactory result is obtained.
