Abstract
The mechanical, thermophysical, spectroscopic, nonlinear, and laser properties are presented for one of the most efficient laser crystals: neodymium-doped potassium gadolinium tungstate, KGd(WO4)2:Nd3+-(KGW:Nd). Nonresonance and optical properties are also presented.
