1 October 2000 Long wave infrared zoom projector thermal analysis and compensation

Abstract
We present a long wave IR zoom scene projector, designed and built by Optics 1, Inc. Research on the thermal analysis and compensation is conducted. An effective thermal compensation scheme is proposed to enable the zoom projector to maintain its performance when it is operating between 0 and 40°C. The final testing results prove the design performance.
