Abstract
We design an optimized synthetic reference function for detecting rotated seal images with equal correlation peak. The method to minimize the average cross-correlation intensity on the joint transform correlator (JTC) has been utilized. The reference function can be implemented in the spatial domain of the JTC. Correlation results are presented. The system has the ability to recognize the rotated seal image and to locate the seal position.
