Abstract
A reconstruction algorithm by the cubic spline function interpolation, which is used to recover a signal from its dyadic wavelet transform extrema (instead of modulus maxima), is proposed. Numerous experiment results demonstrate its satisfying properties. Compared with previous algorithms it is simpler, more straightforward and faster.
