1 November 2003 Repetition frequency quadruplication through Fabry-Perot filtering

Abstract
We demonstrate a simple method for rate quadruplication of 10-GHz optical clock pulse trains by double pass filtering in a Fabry-Perot interferometer. The 40-GHz pulse train exhibits less than 0.12 dB amplitude modulation.
