Abstract
We present shearing interferometry and Fourier analysis techniques to measure the temperature and temperature profile of a gaseous burner flame. The methodology is expected to give a better accuracy than techniques that use the location of fringe centers because of the complete separation of phase from the unwanted irradiance variations.
