Abstract
More and more infrared optical systems work in cryogenic temperatures in order to achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio. Infrared materials' optical properties, such as the refractive index and thermo-optic coefficient (dn/dT) are critical to enable high quality, infrared lens designs for cryogenic temperatures. We show a new cryogenic absolute prism refractometer.
