This article [J. Elec. Imag. 21(2), 023025 (2012)], published online on 22 June 2012, contained an error in Eq. (34). The notation $\mathrm{\Gamma}(1/\lambda )$ was missing from the denominator of the second additive expression. The correct equation is:
