Abstract
Wavefront reversal (WFR) via stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) is shown to possess the capability to compensate for phase aberrations in laser media and also to temporally compress long laser pulses. Such techniques, which involve passive and lightweight conjugator elements, are believed to be simple and practical.
