Abstract
A summary of the current status of spectral information on chemical agents, their spectral simulants, and possible field interferents is presented along with comments on current programs being used to expand this spectral data base. The current programs include the collection of Raman and near-infrared spectra and various methods of obtaining the real and imaginary refractive indices (primarily in the mid-infrared spectral region). All of the spectral information will be directly accessible to qualified users on the U.S. Army Chemical Research and Development Center's Univac computer.
