The value of any good reference book lies in the frequency of its use and the quality of the information it provides. In our laboratory, this book has already been extensively used by myself and others to support our work on nonlinear optical materials. The chapter ‘‘An Introduction to Photorefractive Polymers’’ provided an excellent background and key references, to which I referred as I began a new project in this area.
