Profile Summary

My expertise areas are the following: theory of gas, semiconductor and fiber lasers; theory of coherent laser beam combining; non-thermal plasma and applications. Most important results: formulation of resonance radiation transfer in terms of fractional derivative equations and a number of explicit solutions including Green function for slab geometry; proposal and theory of Talbot cavity for laser array phase locking; proposal of four-wave mixing for laser coupling; detailed kinetic modeling of CO2, CO, excimer lasers; numerical modeling of in-plane laser diodes and VCSELs; correct form of fiber amplifiers for coherent wave field amplification; analytical theory of antiguided diode laser array; theory of non-thermal plasma
