Ben Frazier is a member of the Senior Professional Staff at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and Section Supervisor of the Sensor Development and Applications Section in the ISR and Sensors Group. He completed his BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, emphasizing Adaptive Optics, and his PhD at the University of Maryland, researching electromagnetic propagation in chaotic environments. In the early part of his career, Ben specialized in wavefront control for high energy lasers, with experience on the Airborne Laser as well as numerous solid state laser systems. Since joining APL, he has been responsible for modeling, simulation, and analysis of various sensing and propagation applications across the optical and RF domains.
