Bilal H. Malik received the BS degree in engineering sciences in 2002 from GIK Institute, Pakistan, and the MS and PhD degrees in electrical and biomedical engineering in 2006 and 2011 from Texas A&M University, College Station. He is currently a principal scientist at QT Ultrasound Labs, working on development of ultrasound tomographic imaging for clinical applications. His current research interests are biomedical imaging, application of machine learning in medical imaging, and tissue phantom development. Mr. Malik is a member of SPIE, RSNA and IEEE.
