Dr. Baird received his doctorate in theoretical physics from UMass Lowell in 2007 and his bachelors from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2001. He has been a research assistant at Brigham Young University (BYU), a software engineer for ZServe Corporation, a teaching and research assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Space Scholar at the Air Force Research Laboratory. For eight years, Dr. Baird was a senior theoretical researcher at UMass Lowell studying radar scattering and quantum cascade lasers, as well as an adjunct professor teaching graduate electromagnetics. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Physics at West Texas A&M University.
