Profile Summary

Fabrice Onofri, 45, received a PhD (University of Rouen) and Habilitation (Aix-Marseille University) in Physics. As a CNRS Research Director and the head of the optical diagnoses research activities of the laboratory IUSTI, his main research activity is focused on the optical & electromagnetic characterization of particle and particle systems. Over the years, his research has found applications in various fields (multiphase flows: fluidized beds, bubbly flows, sprays; cold and fusion plasma; aerosols; nanofluids and suspensions, hydrodynamic instabilities, etc) in the frame on national and international projects as well as industrial granted projects.
