Flavio Esposito received the MSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples “Federico II” and PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Naples “Parthenope”, Naples, Italy. He is currently Assistant Professor of Electronics with the Department of Engineering of the University of Naples “Parthenope”. His research activity is focused on the design, simulation, fabrication, and characterization of novel fiber optic devices. His work currently involves the development and application of sensors for bio-chemical measurements, radiation exposed environments, environmental monitoring, and structural health monitoring. He received the outstanding reviewer award from Sensors (2019), IEEE Sensors Journal (2020) and IEEE Photonics Technology Letters (2023). He is an Editorial Board Member of Sensors, Photonics and Biosensors; he serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Sensors Letters.
