Geoffrey Bryden is an astronomer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). His research focuses on the detection and characterization of planetary systems beyond the Solar System, in particular the debris left over after planets form. He received his PhD in astrophysics from the University of California in 1999.
