Heather Jensen Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Eppley Institute for Cancer Research and Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She received a BA in biopsychology/neuroscience from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000 and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Creighton University in 2006. While directing a Multiphoton Intravital Imaging Core at UNMC, she focuses on state-of-the art imaging to investigate real-time changes in various biological phenomena
