Profile Summary

Upon completing my B. Sc. in Applied Physics & Electronics in NUI Galway, Ireland in June 2010, I went on to study for a H. Dip. Applied Science in Software Design & Development, also at NUI Galway, graduating in June 2011. I have two years experience working as a Software Engineer in the telecommunications industry, which has given me a lot of practical experience in the use of C/C++, C#, Java and the software development process. The setup and utilization of virtualized environments using VMware is a particular interest of mine.

Currently I am studying for a Ph. D at NUI Galway under the guidance of Prof. Martin Leahy, and I am currently working in the area of Optical Coherence Tomography.
