Dr. Jiawei Sun is a postdoctoral researcher at Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Germany. He also works as a Research Associate at the Competence Center for Biomedical Computational Laser Systems (BIOLAS) and the Laboratory of Measurement and Sensor System Technique (MST) at TU Dresden.
In 2023, Dr. Sun earned his doctoral degree from TU Dresden with the distinction of summa cum laude. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in Lasers and Photonics from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany in 2019, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China.
Dr. Sun is a member of several professional bodies, including SPIE, Optica (formerly OSA), COS, and IEEE. His research interests include optical manipulation with fibers, endoscopic imaging, digital holography, and adaptive microscopy.
