Jinesh Mathew received a PhD in photonics engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology (TU Dublin), Dublin, Ireland, in 2013. He has also worked (2013-2017) as a Research Associate in the Applied Optics and Photonics Research Group of the Institute of Photonics and Quantum Sciences in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K. He has more than ten years of research experience in fibre-optic sensors and has published over 50 journal or conference papers. His research interests include Optical sensing, fibre optic sensors, NIR spectroscopy and Photon based Quantum Technologies.
