Psycho-emotional stress is the cause of many diseases. Cortisol is a marker of psychoemotional stress, an increase in the level of this hormone in human biological fluids may indicate experienced stress. As a physiological indicator of the level of stress experienced, the content of cortisol in human biological fluids is used. The most convenient detection of cortisol in saliva. However, one of its significant drawbacks is the qualitative rather than quantitative nature of the analysis.
