SC175: Statistical Signal and Image Processing for Demining
This course presents a unified approach to advanced signal and image processing methods to the problem of buried landmine detection and classification. Deterministic and stochastic processing techniques will be reviewed in depth. Physically based signal models are developed. Examples concentrate on the application of estimation and decision theoretic methods based on these sensor models to demining. Other methods, including fuzzy logic and neural nets are discussed.
