I have spent my last three years designing, fabricating and characterizing optic and photonic devices. With the passion for optics and photonics I started my PhD in Sept. 2011 in a European Union funded project at the photonic centre of Tyndall National Institute, Cork, Ireland. Now, I am about to complete my PhD by April 2015 and shall be available from May 2015.
After reviewing my resume you will find that I had the experience of working in a very trans-disciplinary research environment in my PhD. I had the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary groups from different Universities and companies (Manchester Univ. from UK, Lund Univ. from Sweden, VTT from Finland, IBM and so on) as part of my PhD project.
Moreover, as an active personnel in the clean-room I have been trained on the nano-fabrication processes and tools. As an author of more than 10 peer reviewed journal and conference papers I am quite familiar with writing quality scientific articles. I have also written the deliverables and milestone of my PhD project. However, I personally believe that there is no ending of learning and I am always eager to improve my capabilities.
