Dr. Davenport has spent the past fifteen years analyzing surveillance operations and developing new algorithms for automatically interpreting surveillance information. Customers have including Defence Research and Development Canada, the Canadian Space Agency, the Canadian Forces, the UK Ministry of Defence, and a US government agency. Experience with hyperspectral imagery includes: anomaly and target detection, sub-pixel information extraction, radiative transfer analysis and modeling, atmospheric correction, shadow removal, automated image segmentation, and spatial-spectral super-resolution.
