Profile Summary

Mohamed Abaza (S09) received both the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) (Cairo-Egypt) in 2009 and 2012, respectively. From 2009 to 2012, he was a teaching assistant in AASTMT. Since December 2012 he has been a Ph.D. candidate at the \enquote{Universit\'e de Bretagne Occidentale} - UBO (Brest, France). He is also an assistant researcher in Sensor Networks and Cellular Communications Research Center, University of Tabuk (Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). He is an author of a book, 4 international journals and 5 international conferences. He is serving as a reviewer for SPIE, OSA and Hindawi Communication Society’s journals. His current research interests include multiple-input multiple-output techniques, relay-assisted cooperative communications and optical wireless communications.
