Profile Summary

Mohsen Erfanzadeh received his B.S in Physics and his M.S in Photonics. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering in the Optical and Ultrasound Imaging Laboratory at the University of Connecticut under the supervision of Prof. Quing Zhu. His research interests include Photoacoustic microscopy, Photoacoustic Tomography, Optical Coherence Tomography, design of optical imaging systems for early stage diagnosis of ovarian and breast cancers, and Diffuse Optical Tomography. Mohsen has served as the president of the SPIE UCONN student chapter in the 2014-2015 academic year. He is also currently serving as the president of OSA UCONN student chapter.
