Profile Summary

Nafees Mansoor is serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). He joined the department in January 2016, just after finishing his Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Earlier, he received the Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Master of Science degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Dr. Mansoor has more than 10 years work experience both in academia and industry where he worked at some national and international reputed organisations, namely UTM, IUB, Axiata, etc.

Moreover, besides teaching, Dr. Mansoor is also an active researcher. He is the recipient of several awards which includes best paper awards at ICAICT 2016 (Bangladesh), RISP-NCCP 2015 (Malaysia), AUN/SEED-Net ICEEE 2014 (Malaysia), and MJJIS 2013 (Japan). He has also received the Best Research Proposal Award at JACTIM Research Proposal Contest, 2012 in Malaysia and honoured as Cum Luade at his B.Sc. degree in 2005

Dr. Mansoor has published closed to 60 research articles in various reputed journals and international conferences. His research interests cover Wireless Communications, Cognitive Radio Networks, Smart City, Signal Processing and Deep Learning.
