Dr. Natan T. Shaked is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Till April 2011, Dr. Shaked has been a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, USA. Shaked received his B.Sc., M.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude), and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel in 2002, 2004 and 2008, respectively. In 2008, Shaked awarded the Bikura Post-Doctoral Fellowship by the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) and performed his postdoctoral research in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. Shaked is the coauthor of more than 30 refereed journal papers and 35 conference papers (including seven invited papers), and several book chapters and patents, and edited a book on biomedical phase microscopy and nanoscopy.
