Thermal methods of nondestructive testing are widely used for the analysis of the thermal insulation of underground pipelines. In heat methadone nondestructive testing, the thermal energy is distributed in the test object. Temperature field of the object's surface is a source of information on the characteristics of heat transfer. This article describes the modifications we have developed some of the heat flux sensors. A common element of these devices is the battery thermoelectric sensor special design, acting as a thermoelectric converter heat flow.
The article proposes the application of discrete cosine transformation, Haar wavelet transformation and parallel computation in order to reduce the computational complexity of the fractal coding algorithm and to increase the processing speed of the image compression using the proposed algorithm.
Paper presents a method that allows evaluating the impact of uncontrolled parametric perturbations on the stability of automatic systems with logical control units. The major difference of the proposed method is using analytical form for representing the stability of such systems which allows evaluating the parameters of self-excited oscillations.
The paper presents a method of noise reduction in CT images by the curvelet transform. Noise affects the ability to visualize pathologic qualities and the living tissues structure in CT. Noise in CT images depends on the amount of discrete x-ray photons reaching the detector. In the CT images, noise is responsible for visibility reduction the low contrast areas and objects. Noisy picture may not be properly interpreted by a physician, especially for the case of detection of pathological changes in tissues. The tests were performed with the Shepp-Logan test image with additive Gaussian noise.
