Profile Summary

I joined Prof. Lihong Wang's lab at Caltech as a postdoctoral research associate in 2016. I got my Ph.D. in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Utah in August 2016. I received my Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering from the Zhejiang University, China, in 2011.
My current research is in computational imaging and ultra-fast imaging. I am also interested in diffractive micro-optics, nanophotonics, photovoltaics, microscopy, lithography, computational spectroscopy and hyper-spectral imaging.
In my five years at the University of Utah, my research has resulted in 20 journal papers, 12 conference presentations and 2 patents. I was awarded the Best Student Paper Award at the 2015 OSA IS conference at Arlington, Virginia. I was also awarded the Garr Cutler Energy Prize from the University of Utah in Feb 2015. I won the Innovation in Technology Award at the University of Utah in 2016.
