Dr.Vinu R.V is currently a SERB Overseas Post Doctoral Fellow (International Researcher) in Center for Optical Research and Education (CORE), Utsunomiya University, Japan. He was awarded the doctoral degree (PhD in Optics) in 2016 from Indian Institute of Space science and Technology (IIST), Department of Space, Govt. of India, Kerala, India. He received MTech degree in Optoelectronics and Optical Communication in 2010 and MSc degree in Physics in 2006. He qualified Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) from National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO in 2011 and IIST PhD research fellowship in 2012. Recently he was awarded the Overseas Post Doctoral Fellowship from Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He qualified the SERB travel grant award by Department of Science and Technology (DST) for presenting the research paper in SPIE Photonics West-2017, USA. He is a member of the Society of Optics and Photonics (SPIE) and his research interests are Correlation optics, Diffractive optics, Laser speckles, Interferometry, Holography, Imaging through scattering media and coherence - polarization of light.
