Research on high-speed transmission and display technology of optical dynamic scene

The optical scene generator is used to generate the optical characteristics of real scenes and is an important means to test the optical imaging system. With the continuous improvement of the performance of optical imaging system, optical scene generator needs to generate optical scene with high frame rate and high resolution, which puts forward higher requirements for the transmission and display rate of scene. In order to meet the requirement of performance test, this paper proposes a transmission and display link of high-speed data transmission and dynamic scene display through digital micromirror device (DMD) based on Windows operating system platform. In terms of data transmission, the relationship between the scene resolution ratio and memory buffer is analyzed. By adjusting the size of send and receive buffer and window, the data transmission rate is increased by 32.82 times. Combined with multithreading technology, the transmission rate of 10 Gigabit network is stabilized at 8.8Gbps. In data receiving, length counting method is used to avoid the problems of packet sticking and packet splitting in TCP/IP. On the DMD display side, the total display rate was doubled by using USB3.0 port transmission, ping-pong buffer technology and binary pulse-width modulation technology. The experimental results show that the whole link transmission rate of the high-speed transmission and display system proposed in this paper reaches 395.5MB/s. It can realize the transmission and display of 8-bit gray scene with frame rate of 200Hz, resolution of 1920 × 1080.

Space-Based optical imaging dynamic simulation for spatial target

In order to satisfy application requirements of space borne imaging loads development and space target detection technology research, an approach by using space target optical characteristic models and sensor imaging characteristic models to generate original frame images, and using the system complex MTF calculation method to transform original frame images into simulation images is proposed. Additional, the 3D scene generation and driving technology are used to simulate the optical characteristics of space targets in different positions and attitudes during the process of frame image generation. In this approach, imaging factors include space environment, detection system and operation state are taken into consideration, and the target optical characteristics are reproduced realistically, the static or dynamic simulation of detection equipment, simulation verification of target recognition and tracking technology are supported. Simulation results show that this method can reflect characteristics of orientation, attitude and material, signal-to-noise ratio, dynamic range, detection angle, illumination angle and other state on target imaging. Which can satisfy the requirements of ground simulation and provide reference for the research of space target imaging technology.

This paper focuses on developing an automated method for detecting defects on our wavelength conversion thin film. We analyzes the operating principle of our wavelength conversion Micro/Nano thin film which absorbing visible light and emitting infrared radiation, indicates the relationship between the pixel’s pattern and the radiation of the thin film, and issues the principle of defining blind pixels and their categories due to the calculated and experimental results. An effective method is issued for the automated detection based on wavelet transform and template matching. The results reveal that this method has desired accuracy and processing speed.
