Dr. Satish Viswanath is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Case Western Reserve University. He is an Associate Member of the Case Comrehensive Cancer Center as well as the Cleveland Digestive Diseases Research Core Center. He received his Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from Mumbai University (India) in 2004, his MSc in Medical Imaging from the University of Aberdeen (UK) in 2005, and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University (USA) in 2012. He joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Case Western Reserve University as Assistant Research Professor in 2012. In 2016, he accepted the position of Assistant Professor in the department, directing the INVent Lab. Most recently, he was recipient of a DOD/CDMRP Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program Career Development Award to develop image analytics tools in rectal cancers.
