Sudipta Saha has done his Bachelor of Science in Physics in 2012 from the University of Calcutta, India. He is presently pursuing an integrated MS-PhD dual degree program at IISER Kolkata. He is the author and co-author of 7 papers in peer-reviewed international journals in the area of optics and photonics. His research interests include plasmonics, nanophotonics, biophotonics, and light-matter interactions. His paper on "Enhancing transverse spin and transverse spin momentum in micro- and nano-optical systems" was awarded the Best Student Paper Award at the SPIE Photonics Europe 2018.
