Remembering James Breckinridge

SPIE Fellow and Past President James Breckinridge passed away 12 June at the age of 83. A long-time Member of SPIE, he served on the Symposium and Award Committees, was program chair for SPIE Astronomical Telescopes and Instruments, and served on the editorial board for the SPIE Journal of Astronomical Telescopes, Instruments, and Systems. To celebrate his life's work and legacy, SPIE welcomes you to read his research for free. Read more about James' life and career at SPIE.org, or visit his SPIE Profile.
