Abstract
The distribution of determining sum significant digits over the processing stages is shown to increase the accuracy of the optoelectronic array adder without increasing its components accuracy and recourse to proportional hardware expenditures growth. The possibility of the adder realization is substantiated and the requirements on the adder element noise and parameter correction as well as on the optical system quality are considered.
