Abstract
The temperature and the bias current dependence of noise as well asthe noise spectrum for high Tc superconducting infrared bolometer(HTSIB) have been investigated. The influence of the bolometer structureon device noise has been discussed. The responsibility spectrum and thedetectivity D * spectrum for HTSIB has also been obtained. The optimumoperating temperature has been determined, that is between Tco(zero—re- sistance temperature) and Tcm(the temperature at mid transition point). theperformances of our HTSIB are D * (500,10,1) = 3.7 x 109cmHz1 2W-landnoise equivalent power NEP(500,10,1)= 2.4 x 10-11wHz-1/2.
