Abstract
This paper discusses an implementation of a speaker independent Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system for the Polish keywords. The goal of this project is to build Polish commands and instructions recognition system working with clean and compressed speech. In our implementation recognized keywords come from ROBOT corpora created in Automatics and Robotics Institute of Military Academy of Warsaw. ROBOT corpora consist of a robot control instructions recorded from 30 speakers. We used keywords directly from corpora as 22kHz/16bit signal and also its 2.4kbit/s coded version.
