This paper describes the design of the RF front-end, currently implemented as a part of a long-range UHF radio transceiver. The project aims to condition the commercial WiFi HaLow (IEEE 802.11ah) signal to fit in the desired frequency band and enable communication for longer distances. Assumptions of the design, described at the beginning, are followed by a more detailed description of subsequent hardware functional blocks that handle data transmission.
The Simulation Training Platform of the PADO platform, STP PADO, is an innovative technical solution that allows for future system operators' demonstration and training. Its job is mapping modes of a real system through the availability of data from many different observing systems of Border Guard, BG. The primary function of the STP is to train and familiarize staff with optoelectronic technology adequately. The article discusses the proposed solution concept, hardware architecture construction, and STP training functionality. The idea is to give up the high and ego level of mapping the host system and appropriate efficiency and training capacity. The system assumptions correspond to the Table Top Trainer series simulator, TTT, in the client-server architecture.
The Operational Data Aggregation Platform (PADO) is an innovative technical solution that integrates modern ICT techniques with advanced hardware architecture based on a modular design. Its task is to integrate data from many different observational systems of the Border Guard (BG). The basic function of PADO is to increase the safety and effectiveness of BG activities effectively. The article discusses the proposed solutions for the construction of hardware architecture for the PADO platform, which enable the integration of data obtained from various systems and devices used in BG tactics. The system must ensure high reliability of work in severe propagation conditions, ICT performance in the area of information through a variety of communication channels mutually cooperating and low latency. One of the critical aspects of the system is the ability to modify the hardware layer through the implementation of modular construction and solutions based on modern standards and technologies.
