Dr. Pierre-Yves Laffont is the CEO and co-founder of Lemnis Technologies. He prepared a PhD in Computer Science at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis, was a postdoctoral researcher at Brown University and ETH Zurich, and visited MIT, UC Berkeley, and KAIST. He was a visiting researcher at the NTU BeingThere Centre in Singapore, developing advanced technologies for next-generation 3D telepresence. His core research expertise is in the field of Visual Computing, at the intersection of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. His recent work focuses on computational approaches to address unsolved challenges in ophthalmic optics, human vision, and Virtual/Augmented Reality.
