Abstract
The vehicle body overvoltage caused by the frequent passing of high-speed trains through the neutral section device seriously threatens the safety of train operation. The power supply phases at both ends of the neutral section device at the traction substation are different, and the vehicle body overvoltage caused by them is also different, so its characteristics need to be studied. At this stage, the treatment of vehicle body overvoltage focuses on the improvement of grounding device, but the effect is limited, so it is necessary to propose new methods to reduce vehicle body overvoltage. In this paper, the simulation model of the train passing the neutral section device of the traction substation is built, and the characteristics of the vehicle body overvoltage under different phase differences are simulated and analyzed. Aiming at the most serious situation of overvoltage, a new vehicle body overvoltage reduction method is proposed, and its effectiveness is verified by simulation, which provides a new idea for the reduction of passing the neutral section device vehicle body overvoltage.
