We propose a seamless 3D spatial viewer optimized for both short-term and extended use. Metaverse services often require a head mounted display (HMD). However, after long-term use, users can experience fatigue. Furthermore, they cannot take the HMD off immediately, making it difficult to use with other devices such as a smartphone. Our prototype has long eye relief and a large eyebox that does not touch the user's body. Multiple lenses are used to create the large eyebox, which is transferred by retro-reflector arrays and a half mirror for a long eye relief distance. This paper presents the optical design of the 3D seamless viewer and its evaluation results and discusses future applications.
