The unique closed structure of tunnel traffic makes the visual phenomena of "black hole effect" and "white hole effect" occur when drivers drive into and out of the tunnel. In view of the above visual phenomena, this thesis is based on the study of the visual characteristics of drivers driving in tunnels, optimized on the basis of the original tunnel lighting specifications, to establish a more human characteristics, more comfortable new tunnel lighting calculation model. The main research contents and conclusions of this thesis are as follows: taking Cai Pan Yu Tunnel as a model, 3D modeling by DIALux software, daylight setting, lamp arrangement and simulation are carried out to check the reasonableness of the tunnel lighting model.
